NETFLIX PLEDGES DUTY TO BLACK COMMUNITY
Netflix took to social media this week to “speak up” following nationwide protests over the death of George Floyd, citing “a duty to our Black members, employees, creators and talent.”
“To be silent is to be complicit. Black lives matter,” the streaming giant tweeted Saturday.
His death has sparked outrage and protests across the U.S., many of which have become violent and resulted in the arrest of hundreds of demonstrators.
